Church

Today i went to church. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love my church. We go at 1:00 and it ends at4:00. We first go to Sacrament meeting. Then we go to
Sunday school and then finishing it off with Young Womens. Today my Sunday school teachers didn't show up so Brother Dude got to come and teach us. He didnt know what our lesson was so we ended up playing...... Spiritual Hang-Man!!!!! It was quite fun actually. We would play the game and then he would ask questions about our subject. For example.... He asked after I put up Book Of Mormon how many books were in it. It ended up being 14 books. At Young Womens, we learned about honesty. This topic has to do with inegrity. Here are some quotes my Young Womens Leader Sister Smith gave us. "Till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me" (Job 27:5). "When we are true to the sacred principles of honesty and integrity, we are true to our faith, and we are true to ourselves. I will have the moral courage to make my actions consistent with my knowledge of right and wrong" (My Young Womens Leader). I love this quote my Leader used today. It is from Oprah Winfrey. "True honesty is doing the right thing even when you know no one else is watching." (I love Oprah!) "There will never be honesty in the business world, in schools, in the home, or anyplace else until there is honesty in the heart" (Bishop Richard C. Edgley, November 2006 Ensign, Three Towels and a 25-Cent Newspaper). You can find these and more quotes on the website www.lds.org. It is absolutley awesome!!! I would really recommend reading the Book of Mormon too!!! It is a great book and it was written by many prophets in my Church. If you have never heard of my church before i would recommend reading about the Joseph Smith History (found at the end of the Book of Mormon). It is an amazing thing to read. (:
